Ready for a new season.
The lake was frozen, and covered with about 40 cm of snow. Santa didn't give me anything I wanted for Christmas, but he had been here last night making a track for me on the lake. All was forgiven......

Got the rally car off the trailer, started it up, put the helmet on, 1'st gear, full throttle, dump the clutch, and aaahhhh accelerate, and ooohhh slide around the corner. (Felt like a drug addict gone without drugs for several weeks, and finally getting his fix....)

The new 7 mm studded tires were super (Lappi WM2). The traction is predictable, and you feel allot safer on the ice. There was no trouble except the engine started to misfire after longer periods of torture (driving). This was located to the spark plugs, and unfortunately the spare plugs were left at home (-bummer). But it was still fun. The temperature was only -2 C, and the snow was "slushy".

Take a look at the photos (sorry for the car being so dirty). We made some video clips too, and they're on their way.

We are going back on Saturday 19 Jan. Please feel free to join us. Mail or call.
